Dear Phu,

You learn from us and we learn from you.

-The lesson for life part one.

        As you are still at school today, most of the time look  tough. I have been preparing myself and preparing you, by gathering the questions about life. The  answer is for that I haven’t forgotten anything. I keep on revise the lists inside my head; check all the things I recognize I have already told you.

        An image of your face appears in front of me. I see your eyes look upward and downward which is the expression of your character that we both know so well.

“Dad or Mom, I know – you have told me a hundred times already.”

        Well, you know well enough to expect a wording which we always tell you. Like mom always talks about ‘keeping yourself safe and healthy’.

If you get trouble, it was your fault or that you don’t deserve better.

        Yeah, yeah…

I hear you say ‘Don’t worry about it, it doesn’t matter”. I accept that you don’t need any precaution word, no more moralizing; no more word like these; Do not.... 

You know what you should do.

        Eventhough I have represented myself as parent and teacher, I see so clearly that I have also been the student.

We, Mom and Dad, have learned so much from you.

We learned about Love, Patient, Pain, Happiness, and many meaningful things. 

You have played such a large part in molding us into the person who we are.

        You have taught us well and we thank you.

(We love you so much than any word can be said.)
